Engineering with Impact.
From Sensor to Work Order. Every building block here therefore has a defined target in a business process and a return channel into your enterprise systems.
01
Machine and Plant Connectivity - Existing Assets First
We connect existing assets and new machines via OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus and vendor-specific PLC protocols (Siemens S7, Beckhoff, Rockwell). Where no interface exists, we add retrofit sensors and edge gateways. The result: one unified asset and signal model for your entire machine park – regardless of vintage or manufacturer.
02
Edge Computing and Data Pre-Processing
Aggregation, filtering and buffering at the line – so only relevant data reaches the cloud and assets keep running during network outages. Containerised edge workloads on Azure IoT Edge or Azure IoT Operations (Arc-enabled) and AWS IoT Greengrass, time series buffered locally, AI inference at the edge where latency matters.
03
IoT Platform and Data Layer
Device management, telemetry ingestion and time-series storage on Azure IoT Hub or AWS IoT Core, streaming via Event Hubs or Kafka into your data platform. We build no island: IoT data lands in the same lakehouse as your ERP and CRM data – ready for analytics and AI from our Data & AI portfolio.
04
ERP Integration: Condition Monitoring Becomes a Work Order
Threshold breaches, counter readings and condition messages automatically create maintenance notifications and orders in SAP PM/EAM or SAP Asset Performance Management, production confirmations in SAP Digital Manufacturing or Business One Production, and maintenance plans in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Asset Management. The technician sees the order – not the dashboard.
05
Connected Field Service and Installed Base
Machines in the field report themselves: alerts become service calls in Dynamics 365 Field Service (Connected Field Service) or Salesforce Service Cloud – with spare-part demand, technician dispatch and full machine history. For machinery and plant builders, the direct route from reactive after-sales cost to plannable service revenue.
06
OEE, Shop-Floor Visibility and MES Integration
Real-time OEE per machine, line and shift, downtime reasons and scrap tracking straight from machine signals – in Power BI, Grafana or as an Andon display at the workstation. Integrated with MES and SAP Digital Manufacturing so planning, shift leaders and management see the same numbers – without manual recording.
07
Energy and Consumption Monitoring
Energy, compressed-air, water and media consumption per asset and product – the basis for ISO 50001, CBAM documentation and CSRD reporting, and a lever on the largest cost block in paper, chemicals and metal. The data flows into the same dashboards and ERP cost centres as your production data.
08
Connected Products for Manufacturers
Your machine or device becomes a data source for your customers: cloud back-end, device management, over-the-air updates, customer portal and data-based service contracts – built by our Product Engineering teams in .NET, React and Python. Including the requirements of the EU Cyber Resilience Act, which apply in full to connected products from December 2027.
09
Security, Operations and Scale
Device identities, certificate rotation, network segmentation to IEC 62443 and NIS2-compliant operating processes from the start – not as a retrofit. After go-live, our Managed Shared Services run the IoT landscape – fleet monitoring, firmware rollouts, integration health and cost control – under the same SLAs as your enterprise platforms.
